Happy Birthday SANA.

Image
As encomium upon messages are pouring, in honour of the Labour Party flag bearer in Imo State, Sen Athan Nneji Achonu (SANA), we, the Concerned Imo Influencers (CII), felicitate with him as he marks his birthday today May 31, 2023 at the resourceful age of 64. SANA popularly known as 'Agu Otu Aka' One-arm-general, a revered son of Imo State from Umunumo, Ehime-Mbano precisely delved into politics not because of gains, but to selflessly serve humanity. We observed that from the outset, there was no time the people of Ehime Mbano sat on a round table to take decisions on arrangement for the distribution/sharing of power between the west and east bloc. Put in a simple way, we do not have a document or charter of equity signed by the people of Ehime Mbano stating a zoning formula or system. However, the purported zoning arrangement in Ehime Mbano started in 1999. Rt. Hon Stanford Onyirimba of the blessed memory (west) was the first beneficiary. After serving out the first term of four years, he was reelected to the state House of Assembly from 2003 to 2007. Recall that during the period in review, the Executive ...
