Happy Birthday SANA.

As encomium upon messages are pouring, in honour of the Labour Party flag bearer in Imo State, Sen Athan Nneji Achonu (SANA), we, the Concerned Imo Influencers (CII), felicitate with him as he marks his birthday today May 31, 2023 at the resourceful age of 64.

SANA popularly known as 'Agu Otu Aka' One-arm-general, a revered son of Imo State from Umunumo, Ehime-Mbano precisely delved into politics not because of gains, but to selflessly serve humanity.

He has participated actively from ward to community politics, where the zeal to serve garnered strength, thereby, spiralling into State and National levels.


'Aku Ruo Ulo' as his fondly called is a household name. A man of many parts; business, politics, community services and philanthropist. Besides touching lives with direct empowerment, he established a Micro-finance within Imo State to help less advantaged traders and artisans to upscale their living standard.


However, he single handedly built a tarred community road within his home town, a projected that ordinarily is a State responsibility and others not mentioned.

His agro investments in Imo State, FCT-Abuja and other places tell a man whose interest to make an impact in the society is unrivaled.

 

As an investor, serial entrepreneur, philanthropist and peace builder, Sen Achonu has touched many lives and still touching. It is his 'AkuRuo Ulo' philosophy that has endeared many towards him.

Needless to mention his doggedness in live approach, he started early in life to carve a niche for himself, earning his multiple digits in Dollars to grow into an enviable investment empire.


Today, as he celebrates his 64 years, the Concerned Imo Influencers wish him every success, as the group has promised to ensure his victory in the upcoming Imo gubernatorial election.

UAAG Grant: We Plead with the Government to Lift the Disbursement.

  The poverty in Nigeria is increasing by each seconds because both the State and Federal government are depriving the citizens from available resources. The COVID-19 hoarding of palliatives provided to sustain living was an evident eye opener.  Currently, an international grant to alleviate poverty through UAAG is hanging because of same reasons.  The delay in disbursing the grant is crashing the old wounds of hoarding palliatives by government officials during Covid-19.  All hope to celebrate this year's Christmas with the international intervention of financial grant to alleviation thousands of Nigerians from poverty is dashing. Since October 2022, the anticipation was high that disbursement will of the grand fund will be disbursed before the end of November.
