Rt. Hon. Jonas Okeke Campaign Organization Rejects the Judgement of the Tribunal.

Following the September 10th judgement that retrieved the Certificate of Return issued to Hon. Jonas Okeke after the 2023 National Assembly Elections, the Rt. Hon. Jonas Okeke Campaign Organization Rejects the Judgement of the Tribunal in press release that was made public.



The RT Hon Jonas Okeke Campaign Organization has received with utter dismay the judgement of the National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Nasarawa State, invalidating the February 25 election of RT Hon Jonas Okeke as winner of the House of Representatives polls conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for Ehime Mbano/Ihitte Uboma/Obowo Federal Constituency. 


We want to state unequivocally and for the records that, we shall explore our constitutional right of seeking redress for this miscarriage of justice done by the tribunal at the appellate court, moreso considering the fact that the issue raised by the petitioners upon which judgement was premised is a pre-election matter which had already been decided by the Appeal Court as seen in the recent delivery of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC), and therefore cannot be justiciable. 


 RT Hon Jonas Okeke cannot be distracted as he remains unshaken and committed towards carrying on with his legislative mandate overwhelmingly enthrusted on him through the votes of the people. We therefore urge the good people of Ehime Mbano/Ihitte Uboma/Obowo Federal Constituency to remain resolute, calm and steadfast as we see to the logical conclusion of this matter.

UAAG Grant: We Plead with the Government to Lift the Disbursement.

  The poverty in Nigeria is increasing by each seconds because both the State and Federal government are depriving the citizens from available resources. The COVID-19 hoarding of palliatives provided to sustain living was an evident eye opener.  Currently, an international grant to alleviate poverty through UAAG is hanging because of same reasons.  The delay in disbursing the grant is crashing the old wounds of hoarding palliatives by government officials during Covid-19.  All hope to celebrate this year's Christmas with the international intervention of financial grant to alleviation thousands of Nigerians from poverty is dashing.
