Sen. Frank Ibezim: Imo North and race against time.

A refined journalist, Tony Iwuoma has this view to share on the state of Okigwe zone and representation.  When great things are about to happen, the devil always resists them. That is why the darkest hour comes before dawn. Nevertheless, no hand is big enough to cover the sun, and so the dawn berths, splashing its light over the earth regardless of the antics of the devil. Such was the case with Imo North over a year ago when the jostle for who would replace the late Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu, representing Imo North in Nigeria’s Senate, began. The announcement of a by-election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) stirred a fierce and bitter contest among contenders right from the party primaries. Eventually, three frontline gladiators emerged in the persons of Chief Emmanuel Okewulonu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, and the eventual winner, Distinguished Senator Chukwuma Frank Ibezim, both of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Nigeria Economy: Growth vs Development.

Nigeria is the acclaimed giant of of Africa and, it is right to establish that as far as economic activities are concerned, the south are the brain but power reside in the North for obvious reasons that is still keeping Nigeria under developed. Nigeria is the number one Country in Africa by population and economy growth but, truth is that in development, we are low because we like LIES. That is by the way. In health sector, Nigeria is 11th in Africa. You remember doctors on strike, leaving Nigeria to practice abroad. While people die in thousands because we lack health care (See https://www.scimagoir.com/rankings.php?country=Africa&sector=Health). In education sector, Nigeria is not found in the top ten African countries with best education sector (See https://egscholars.com/2021/12/21/top-10-african-countries-with-the-best-education-system/). At least for over two months, University has been on strike, and people are raising ₦400million in 2hrs for a Presidential bid of one cand

Nigeria Politicians like Lies and Vain-praises.

Image
The current spurring fact in the place of leadership is abuse of power. This abuse of power can be traced to the answer of this question. Why do most Nigeria politicians like hearing vain-praises and lies? Honestly, only the truth will give us the development we seek in this Country. Thus, we are far from development because our leaders are doomed with showers of praise and lies. A Personal Assistant, Minister, Commissioner etc, job description is lowered to praise singing and lies to their Officers. It is now a norm that, if you fail to do so, you are sacked. Agụrụ juru n'obodo will make another to take the position and do it more than devil. It is obvious that the presidency are leaving the source to chase shadow, which pose a big blow of irresponsibility. Okay, are the youths in school or street? Doing what in the street? Has the presidency taken time to analyze this small matter? Please my people, help me point out a problem this presidency has been able to solve since 2015!
